On May 15, 2019, the 14th Asian Pallet System Federation Conference hosted by the Asian Pallet System Federation (APSF) and hosted by the Japan Pallet Association was held in Tokyo, Japan. Nearly 80 people from China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Myanmar and Iran attended the meeting, including more than 30 people from the Chinese delegation. The meeting focused on the development of the pallet industry in Asian countries, the implementation plan of pallet recycling, the tariff rate of pallet imports, the use and production of pallets in various countries, pallet operations, technology, standards and other related content. Kazuhiko Yamazaki, president of the Japan Pallet Association, Professor Wu Qingyi, former director of the Pallet Committee of the China Federation of Things, and Xu Binglun, president of the Korea Pallet and Logistics Box Association, delivered welcome speeches for the conference. The meeting was presided over by Yan Zaijun, Secretary-General of APSF.
At the meeting, APSF unanimously approved Professor Wu Qingyi, the former director of the Pallet Committee of China Federation of Things, as the honorary chairman of APSF, and Ma Zengrong, director of the Pallet Committee, as the vice chairman of APSF.
